James "Jim" Hagan, 87, passed away peacefully at home in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, on November 12, 2024, with his beloved wifeAnna by his side.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1937 to John and Esther (Buzi) Hagan, Jim grew up with three brothers and sisters. He entered the United States Airforce, proudly serving our country for 4 years. After his time in the Air Force, Jim entered the private sector to pursue a career in engineering. This took his family to various places across the U.S., instilling a love for discovery and adventure in all of them. Upon retiring, he and Anna spent five fun filled years exploring the United States and Canada by RV, enjoying hiking, fishing, and the beauty of the outdoors. In 1997, they discovered the town of Ten Sleep and knew they had found their home.
In addition to his love for the outdoors, Jim was a talented woodworker, crafting beautiful pieces that will be treasured by his family for generations. Jim's warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, John Carroll Hagan; mother, Esther Hagan Colliflower; brother, James "Champ" Colliflower and his daughter, Teresa Hagan.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Anna Hagan; daughters, Lisa (Mark) Hoover, Marcee(Jason) Leffler; brother, John Carroll Hagan; sister, Geraldine (Chuck) Ryan; grandchildren, Michael Hoover, and Lindsey Hoover, Lauren and Dyllan Loveless; and his great-grandchildren, Wynn and Archer Loveless.
