Wayne Alan Mosegard, 78, passed away on November 16, 2024 in Billings, Montana.
Wayne was born January 2, 1946 in Basin, Wyoming to Frank and Helen (Rubis) Mosegard. He completed his schooling at Manderson and graduated in 1964. He married his high school sweetheart Sheila Schwartz in 1967. Wayne went on to the University of Wyoming and graduated with a B.S. in agriculture. Once he finished college, he returned to Manderson and farmed with his father.
Wayne was awarded multiple awards through the years for his farming. He even won trips to California, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. Wayne's hobbies included fishing, photography and wooden toy making.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila; four children, Monty (Jackie) Mosegard from Ralston, Wyoming, Brenda (Gredo) Goldenstein from St Cloud, Minnesota, Amy (Mark) Hoyt from Burlington, Wyoming and Erin (Tim) Wright from Douglas, Wyoming; seven grandchildren: Cole Mosegard, Carly (Kyle) Riley, Ryan Hoyt, Brooke Wright, Bailey Wright, Connor Hoyt and Luke Goldenstein. Wayne is especially blessed with two great grandchildren, William and Kendall Riley.
Other special people are Monty's stepdaughter Necia Kacmar and Kyla (Logan) Hackett and Monty's grandchildren, Aaralynn, Hailee, Katee, Brayden, Jacob and Haizyl.
A visitation will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home chapel in Worland, Wyoming on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Mount View Cemetery in Basin, Wyoming 11:00 AM November 22, 2024 with a celebration of life following at Cloud Peak Bible Church in Manderson, Wyoming at 12:30 PM.
