A parade in Ten Sleep with Gingerbread and Lollipops the street will light.

Shoppers in local shops, Santa has been photographed everywhere

Talking to kids with dreams and wishes, their lists prepared with care.

So as the year winds down and Mother Nature brings colder weather

Let’s look back at some highlights, and remember 2024 together.

Several new businesses opened. Badland’s Supplement, Slim’s Diesel Repair

5 R’s Tire, Bulk Transit and the Axe Hole. Have you been there?

LB Computer services , Simple Tatts and Dirt Works of Wyoming a few that are new

Many others had improvements and we saw a facelift or two.

Mountain West Eye Care is now on main street, two other buildings will soon become one

Bliss has a new location and remodeling on the old one has begun!

Flower Exchange got a new paint job, Washakie Museum got an EV Charger

A new MRI machine at Washakie Medical Center takes care of those who are larger.

Blair’s got new shelf tags for prices on ingredients for our dinners

Hurricane Lanes has new games and many have been winners.

Ten Sleep got a new Coffee Hut called the Broken O

While artisans have gathered to create the Rabbit Hole

Deer Haven has reopened, TSBC created a fresh hopped beer

Ten Sleep’s new school is almost done and students are sure to cheer.

The City of Worland created a new video since it had been a while

While Wyoming Sugar Company had more sugar beets than they could pile.

The airport got a new FBO that sells fuel whenever you want to fly

The BLM leased the terminal for fire crews while on stand by

WDA welcomed the American Hereford Association they had a really good time

They helped the local economy buy spending far more than one thin dime.

Manufacturing Works partnered with WDA to host Senator Lummis’ team to tour

Amish Origins, UPI and Crown Cork and Seal made us look great for sure!

An election year it was and some faces in offices will soon change

We all await how the Legislative Session will be rearranged.

Thanks goes out to all who have served and anyone who ran

Stepping up to make change is better than complaining just because you can.

Bryant’s have an approval for a crematory in the coming year

Dollar General may have a new site plan, we are just waiting to hear.

Gottsche’s new facility, will be a nice addition up on 23rd Street

While Oxbow Center’s Lighthouse, by March should be complete.

The library will get more space for the kids, maybe in the spring

While Hometown Matters Podcast is WDA’s brand-new thing

Of course. we saw some closings along with the rest of our state

Yet that doesn’t mean rural communities are anything less than great.

We wish our friends and neighbors Merry Christmas as we bid farewell to the old year

A new ED plan is being worked on, our community growth to steer

May you spend time with family, making some memories this holiday season
