Edith Gay Roessing

Edith Gay Roessing, 87, passed away on December 20, 2024, at the Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on January 1, 1937, in Worland to Blufred Sylvester and Irene Dorothy (Greenwalt) Hackney. She had a full life, filled with many interests and a variety of roles. She enjoyed coin collecting, was a dedicated member of the Pinochle Club, and spent hours working on jigsaw puzzles. Professionally, Edith worked as a secretary for several insurance companies and was a dispatcher for Admiral Beverage Transport.

In 1958, she married Darrel Bullinger, and together they had two children, Bart and Brenda.

Later in life, Edith met her second husband who she would spend the rest of her life with, Harry "Bill" Roessing. She enjoyed the small-town life and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Darrel Bullinger, and her daughter Brenda Zastrow.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harry "Bill" Roessing; son, Bart Bullinger; stepson, William Roessing; step-daughter, Starlet Mae (John) Stone; daughter-in-law, Judy Gillett; brother, Wayne Hackney; sister, Edna D Tuttle; as well as eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
