National Day of Observance delays arrival for Northern Wyoming News for subscribers

A National Day of Observance has been declared to honor the death of former President, Jimmy Carter.

The Postal Service will suspend regular mail deliveries, retail services and administrative office activity this Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Regular operations will resume on Friday, January 10, 2025.Due to this fact the Northern Wyoming News will not arrive in subscriber mailboxes until Friday, Jan. 10.

Online subscribers will be able to access the newspaper as usual no later than 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The newspaper will also be on newsstands as usual Wednesday afternoon.

Print subscribers are welcome to stop by the office for an additional copy if you would like one on Thursday, or we will email you the online version.

We apologize for the delay and inconvenience.

We typically try to adjust press times to work around holidays but due to the timing of this National Day of Observance, following so closely after Christmas and New Year’s, we were unable to make special arrangements.

We thank you for your understanding and your readership.

Normal press times and mailing should return next week.
